Marble tiles in Pakistan cost PKR 125 to PKR 480 per sq.ft for material only, depending on variety and size, at rates checked on 2 November 2026. Sunny Grey and Badal tiles are the lowest-priced options, Ziarat White Super is the highest, and fitting plus polishing adds roughly PKR 95 to PKR 155 per sq.ft on top of the material rate.

The table below reproduces the material-only tile rates from TaveraMarble's live Pakistan marble price list, checked 2 November 2026. Prices are material only: they cover the tile itself, not fitting, cement, or polishing. Sizes are the standard cut sizes listed on the price list. Natural stone varies by slab, so treat each range as a market range for that variety and size, not a fixed price for every tile.

Source basis: TaveraMarble live price list, checked 2 November 2026. City note: Karachi (Manghopir) prices run slightly lower than Lahore and Rawalpindi for several varieties, because Lahore and Rawalpindi carry roughly PKR 10 to PKR 20 per sq.ft in inter-provincial freight. Get the city-specific figure in writing for your order, since freight and grade move the final rate.
Four factors explain most of the gap between a PKR 125 tile and a PKR 480 tile. Variety comes first: Sunny Grey and Badal come from widely available KP and Balochistan strata, while Ziarat White Super is a finer, more selective grade with far less usable stone per block. Grade comes second: within one variety, a uniform, low-pinhole lot costs more than a mixed lot with visible variation. Size and thickness come third: calibrated 12x24 tiles at 18mm cost more than standard 12x12 tiles, because cutting, calibration, and transport all rise with size. Finish comes fourth: a polished, book-matched lot costs more than a standard honed lot, and hand-selected slabs with uniform veining sit at the top of each variety's range.
A material-only rate is only part of a floor budget. The live price list breaks the finished cost into four parts: raw stone material, white cement and bonding sand at PKR 25 to PKR 35 per sq.ft, stonemason fitting labour at PKR 40 to PKR 50 per sq.ft for a straight layout (PKR 55 to PKR 70 for diagonal patterns), and machine diamond grinding and chemical polish at PKR 30 to PKR 40 per sq.ft. Adding those parts to the material rate gives a finished average of roughly PKR 220 to PKR 275 per sq.ft for Sunny Grey and Badal, and roughly PKR 340 to PKR 475 per sq.ft for Tavera Beige and Verona. For a 1,000 sq.ft floor, that difference between material-only and finished cost is the difference between a PKR 125,000 material bill and a roughly PKR 220,000 to PKR 275,000 finished floor for the budget varieties, before transport and wastage.
Check colour consistency across several tiles from the same lot, not just the display piece. Look for pinholes, cracks, and vein breaks, and check thickness with a straight edge: calibrated tiles should sit flat without rocking. Ask the seller, in writing, for the variety, grade, size, thickness, and finish, and for whether the quoted rate is material-only or fitted. Ask what is excluded: fitting, fabrication, transport, and polishing are often separate, and fitting and fabrication can add substantially to a material-only quote. For light stones, confirm that pure white cement will be used, since grey cement can yellow a light floor. Finally, compare the same size and grade across sellers: a 12x12 rate compared with a 12x24 rate is not a comparison at all.
Marble is calcium carbonate, so acids etch it: toilet cleaners, undiluted vinegar, and citrus left standing can dull the polish. Sealing and prompt cleaning reduce that risk but do not remove it, and no honest seller can promise a marble floor that never stains or never yellows. Pinholes and natural veining are part of the stone, not defects in every case, and a sealed, well-fitted floor with regular damp mopping holds its look far longer than an unsealed floor in a high-traffic area. For wet areas, discuss slip resistance and sealing with your fitter before ordering, since a high-polish finish behaves differently underfoot when wet.
